SAP S/4HANA Business Integration Program Lead (6–12 months) — Automotive OEM Transformation

An international automotive manufacturer is running a company-wide SAP S/4HANA transformation covering Manufacturing, Supply Chain & Logistics, Finance, and parts of Sales. We're looking for an experienced Interim Business Integration Program Lead to drive organizational readiness and act as the key link between business functions and IT throughout the program. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role in a complex, multi-site matrix organization — not a technical SAP configuration role. Responsibilities - Lead the Business Integration PMO for the overall SAP S/4HANA transformation - Drive cross-functional integration between business and IT stakeholders - Establish and run governance, KPI tracking, risk management, and escalation processes - Ensure business readiness across all functional areas - Lead implementation of a Master Data Governance framework - Oversee documentation, knowledge management, training, and change management activities - Deliver executive-level reporting to the Steering Committee and senior leadership - Coordinate program activities across multiple U.S. locations (North Carolina, South Carolina, Michigan) - Lead cross-functional teams in a matrix organization with predominantly part-time resources Requirements — must-have - Proven track record leading large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programs - Prior experience within an automotive OEM environment - Experience as a Business Integration PMO Lead or comparable program leadership role - Strong governance, PMO, and enterprise program management skills - Hands-on experience with Master Data Governance - Fluent English (spoken and written) Requirements — nice-to-have - Background in organizational change management, business readiness, and training design - Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority, in a complex matrix organization 15–20 years relevant experience Location & travel This is a remote-based engagement billed at an hourly rate. The role requires regular travel within the United States to client sites in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Michigan. All travel costs (flights, accommodation, per diem) are covered separately by the client. Candidates based in the USA or Europe are welcome to apply.
