Indesign Creation - Electrical Install Manual

2 WEEK SPRINT: Kora is looking for an experienced Adobe InDesign production designer to support the development of our combined installation manual. We offer a Smart Panel, paired with modular batteries and hybrid inverter. We have attached the two existing manuals we're blending into one doc. We will provide the text of the combined document and 2D and 3D images to the best of our ability. This project requires more than general graphic design experience. You must be comfortable working with long, technical documents and understand how to read three-line electrical diagrams. You do not need to provide engineering sign-off, but you should be able to follow the diagrams accurately, preserve their technical meaning, and flag inconsistencies or unclear information. SCOPE OF WORK * Work from our existing packaged Adobe InDesign and PDFs. * Maintain consistent typography, paragraph styles, master pages, tables, warnings, captions, page numbering, and navigation. * Accurately place and manage technical illustrations and electrical figures. * Preserve the meaning and legibility of all diagrams. * Identify missing links, fonts, formatting problems, or conflicting source content. * Produce organized source files and polished PDFs suitable for digital distribution and printing. * Available for the next two weeks, around 20 hours a week. Experience with residential split-phase electrical systems, energy storage, solar, electrical panels is a strong plus. Open the `Smart_Panel_Manual_Packaged` folder and open `Smart_Panel_Manual.idml` in Adobe InDesign. Please show the actual InDesign document—not only the exported PDF. 3. Find the three existing three-line diagrams within our Smart Panel manual PDF. Briefly explain the flow of energy through this panel. No unpaid design work or document revisions are requested in the application video. The Loom is only intended to confirm that you can open the working files and understand the technical figures.
