Industrial Designer for 3D printing/ CAD Engineer for Consumer Product

About the Project I am looking for an experienced Industrial Designer or Mechanical CAD Engineer to develop a professional, fully parametric CAD model for a unique consumer product. This is not just a 3D modeling task. My goal is to create a product that can evolve from an initial 3D-printed prototype into a commercially manufactured product. The product is a symbolic floating keepsake (not a toy). Product Description The product consists of: Two interlocked orange lifebuoys with raised lettering. A small blue-and-white boat attached behind the lifebuoys with an integrated 3D-printable chain. When placed in water, the boat should appear to pull the two lifebuoys behind it. The object should float naturally and look visually balanced. The overall design should be elegant, emotionally appealing, and suitable as a premium keepsake or gift. I already have: concept sketches; design references; a detailed technical specification. Scope of Work The selected freelancer will: Develop a fully parametric CAD model. Optimize the design for FDM 3D printing. Ensure good structural strength while maintaining aesthetics. Design with future injection molding in mind. Prepare production-ready CAD files. Suggest engineering or design improvements where appropriate.
