Instagram Reels Editor — 4–5 Reels Per Week, Ongoing Collaborative Partner (Brand Guide Provided)
Worldwide
We're looking for a skilled Instagram Reels editor who's great at managing the editing process end-to-end. This is ongoing, recurring work — 4–5 Reels per week — and we want a real collaborator. Not just someone who cuts clips, but someone who can advise us on how to capture better raw footage and make each Reel stronger. We'll provide a brand guide (colors, fonts, logo usage, style, tone) to keep everything consistent and on-brand. What you'll do: • Edit 4–5 engaging, scroll-stopping Instagram Reels per week (most run 45–80 seconds) • Follow our brand guide for a consistent look and feel • Add captions, text, transitions, music, and effects that fit the brand • Manage the editing workflow smoothly so nothing falls through the cracks • Collaborate openly: share ideas, flag what's working, suggest improvements Our workflow: • We'll drop raw video into a shared folder (Google Drive / Dropbox) for you to pull from • We'll use a shared space (Frame.io, a Trello/Notion board, or similar) to discuss edits, give feedback, and track each Reel's status • We're open to your suggestions here — if you have a workflow that works well, we'd love to hear it What we're looking for: • Proven experience editing Instagram Reels / short-form vertical video (portfolio required) • Strong sense of pacing, hooks, and what makes people stop scrolling • Comfortable managing the process and keeping things organized • Proactive communicator who'll advise rather than just take orders • Proficiency with editing tools (Premiere, CapCut, DaVinci, Final Cut, or similar) • Bonus: understanding of Instagram trends, audio, and best practices To apply, please answer the screening questions below. We value creativity, reliability, and good collaboration. If you're great to work with, this becomes a long-term partnership. Screening Questions: 1. Share 2–3 links to Instagram Reels you've edited. Which performed best, and why do you think it worked? 2. We want to improve our raw footage. Based on your experience, what's one common mistake people make when filming Reels — and how would you coach us to fix it? 3. Most of our Reels will run 45–80 seconds. What is your per-Reel rate for that length, and what's your typical turnaround time? 4. How do you prefer to receive raw footage and give/receive feedback on edits? Walk us through your ideal workflow. To confirm you read this post, please start your reply with the word "Reels."
