Instructional Copy Editor - Copywriter

Job Description We are looking for an exceptional native English copy editor to review and refine the content of a new teacher training app focused on child safeguarding. This is not a marketing or SEO writing role. The content already exists. We need someone with outstanding editorial judgement to make every sentence clearer, more engaging and easier to learn, while preserving the meaning and educational intent. You will review lesson content, scenario-based learning, feedback messages, prompts and in-app microcopy to ensure they are: Clear and concise Natural and engaging Emotionally appropriate Easy for teachers to understand under cognitive load Consistent in tone and terminology Written in excellent British English Essential Native English speaker Exceptional copy editing skills Experience editing educational, training or e-learning content Strong attention to detail Able to improve wording without changing meaning Desirable Experience in teacher training, safeguarding, behavioural science or instructional design Experience reviewing content for mobile apps or digital learning platforms Please include examples of similar editing work and explain why you're suited to this project.
