Instructional Designer / Learning Production Associate

I run a learning design and instructional design service supporting U.S.-based client projects, and I’m looking for a reliable Instructional Designer / Learning Production Associate to assist with ongoing project work. This role will begin with a paid trial project so we can evaluate fit before moving into recurring work. The trial will involve creating a short instructional design deliverable, such as a 5-screen eLearning storyboard, using provided source content, templates, and instructions. If the trial goes well, this can become an ongoing part-time opportunity supporting client projects on a weekly basis. The ongoing rate for this role is expected to fall within the equivalent of $8–$12 USD per hour, depending on experience, quality, speed, and reliability. However, most assignments will be structured as fixed-price project work with clearly defined scope, expectations, deadlines, and revision limits. This is not a client-facing role. You will work from source documents, templates, project instructions, and feedback. I will handle client communication, project strategy, and final quality review. The right person is detail-oriented, organized, fluent in professional English, comfortable following defined processes, and able to produce clean, review-ready work with minimal hand-holding.
