Insurance/MGA Bookkeeper (QuickBooks Online) — must understand premium trust & commission accounting

We're a US cyber-insurance MGA (managing general agent). We need an experienced bookkeeper to own our monthly books in QuickBooks Online. This is NOT general small-business bookkeeping — you must already understand insurance agency/MGA accounting. You must have hands-on experience with: - Premium trust / fiduciary accounting — premiums we collect are held in trust, not revenue - Premiums payable to carriers; agency-bill vs. direct-bill commission - Commission / override recognition and chargebacks (return premium on cancellations) - Carrier statement / bordereaux reconciliation - Monthly close, bank reconciliation, A/P, A/R, financial statements Important: We run QuickBooks Online + Salesforce. We do NOT use an agency management system (no AMS360, no Applied Epic). You must be able to build and maintain the premium-payable, trust, and commission structure manually inside QuickBooks — using liability accounts, classes, and clearing accounts — without an AMS doing it for you. Engagement: Ongoing, part-time, monthly. Remote. Long-term if it's a fit. To apply — answer these two questions in your first message (applications without answers are ignored): 1.
