Integrate Supplier API

We are looking for an experienced backend developer to integrate a third-party supplier API into our existing system. The integration should handle real-time or scheduled syncing of product catalog data, stock levels, and pricing. Scope of work: • Connect to supplier’s REST API (documentation will be provided) • Fetch and sync product data: titles, descriptions, categories, images • Sync stock availability and price updates • Map supplier data to our internal product schema • Error handling, logging, and basic retry logic • Deliver clean, documented code Requirements: • Proven experience with REST API integrations • Comfortable working with JSON/XML data formats • Experience with scheduled tasks / cron jobs • Any backend stack is acceptable (PHP, Python, Node.js preferred) • Clean code and basic documentation required Project type: One-time, fixed price Timeline: 1–2 weeks Please include examples of similar API integrations in your proposal.
