Upwork Job Post: Interior Design / Virtual Staging / Room-by-Room Home Refresh I am looking for an interior designer, virtual staging specialist, or home design assistant to help me redesign and organize my home room by room. This will be a detailed project covering approximately five rooms, and I want someone who can help create a clear “as-is vs. to-be” vision for each space. For each room, I want to review the existing conditions — blank walls, furniture, layout, colors, lighting, wood tones, textures, and budget — and then develop a practical design plan. The goal is not just pretty pictures, but a realistic plan I can actually buy, install, and execute. Scope of work may include: Create simple floor plans or room layouts using SketchUp, MagicPlan, Canva, Planner 5D, or similar tools Provide “existing condition vs. proposed design” mockups for each room Use virtual staging tools or overlays to visualize furniture, artwork, shelves, rugs, lighting, and accessories in the room Help select products that fit our color palette, preferred stores, budget, wood tones, and overall style Source 3–5 style options per item, such as rugs, shelves, dining table, artwork, dishes, accessories, lighting, and decor Create a clean, shareable purchase list with product names, prices, links, dimensions, and notes Help prioritize what to buy first versus later Join video calls to walk through the house room by room and discuss ideas Potentially support on-site work if you are based in the United States and available to travel, though remote/video work is fine This is a serious project and may require approximately 100 hours between June 10 and August 10.
