Interior Technical Designer (Revit/Rendering)

Full-Time Technical Designer (Revit & Enscape Expert) — 40+ Hours/Week About the Opportunity We are a rapidly growing, high-end interior design firm looking for a dedicated, full-time Technical Designer to join our team immediately. This is a long-term, intensive partnership requiring 40+ hours per week, including availability for tight deadlines and high-output weeks. You will work directly with our Principal Designer, design team, and procurement coordinator to translate design concepts into stunning, structurally accurate realities. We don't just want a drafter; we want a radically self-reliant partner who takes deep personal accountability for pushing projects to absolute completion. Key Responsibilities 1. Revit, BIM, & Technical Drafting 2D & 3D Drafting: Create detailed 2D layouts (with and without measurements) and verify architectural features against site photography. BIM Management: Build, manage, and verify parametric Revit families (BIMs), ensuring materials are properly mapped and files match intended design specs. Comprehensive Drawing Packages: Generate precise construction and detailed drawings with call-outs for: Flooring, Millwork/Casework, Cabinetry, Hardware, & Painting Wallcoverings, Electrical, Plumbing, Slab/Tile, & HVAC Furniture layouts, Elevations, Styling Accessories, and Window Drapery Specbook Management: Seamlessly add furniture layouts and dimensioned elevations to client specification books. 2. Rendering & Visualization Photorealistic 3D Renderings: Determine 3D rendering views and produce stunning, photo-realistic renderings and Pano 360 views utilizing Enscape. Digital Asset Management: Maintain cloud and local directories; upload Revit families, material folders, and finished rendering JPEGs strictly to designated company folders. 3. Collaboration & Operational Support Team Synergy: Assist the design team with brainstorming, product research, sourcing, pricing, and establishing vendor/trade accounts. Agility: Roll up your sleeves and fill in operational gaps to support a fast-scaling firm. Required Qualifications & Software Expertise Experience: 1–3 years of professional experience in Interior Design or Architecture. Education: Bachelor’s degree required (Interior Design or Architecture preferred). NCIDQ, PMP, LEED, or WELL AP accreditations are a massive asset. Software Mastery (Non-Negotiable): Elite proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Enscape. Expert utilization of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Canva.
