We need someone who can go deep, find stories before they become overcovered, verify every claim, and organize the information into a clear research file for scriptwriting. **Responsibilities** Find uncovered or undercovered internet true crime stories with strong documentary potential Track trending cases from the last 30–90 days Search through news articles, court records, police reports, DOJ/FBI/Europol/NCA updates, local reporting, Reddit, X/Twitter, TikTok, forums, and archive tools Verify claims using reputable sources Separate confirmed facts from allegations, rumors, and speculation Build detailed timelines of events Identify key people, platforms, victims, suspects, communities, arrests, lawsuits, and updates Find supporting visuals, screenshots, public posts, archived pages, news clips, and safe reference material Create organized research documents that a scriptwriter can use immediately Flag monetization risks, legal risks, sensitive details, and claims that need careful wording Suggest possible documentary angles, titles, hooks, and thumbnail concepts **What We Are Looking For** You should be able to research stories involving: Disturbing websites or online communities Viral internet scandals Cyberstalking, doxxing, swatting, sextortion, catfishing, deepfakes, online cults, forums, Telegram/Discord groups, shock sites, and hidden online networks Strange internet personas, creepy twists, secret identities, double lives, and uncomfortable viral cases Criminal cases with strong online elements Stories that feel disturbing, mysterious, internet-native, and psychologically unsettling **Requirements** Strong investigative research skills Experience with OSINT or deep internet research Ability to find reliable sources beyond basic Google results Ability to search court records, official press releases, local news, archives, and social platforms Excellent English reading and writing skills Strong fact-checking ability Comfortable researching dark, disturbing, and sensitive topics Able to organize complex information clearly Research must be based on public, legal, reputable, and safe sources such as news reports, court records, police statements, public archives, official documents, and verified public posts. **Deliverables** For each approved story, you will provide a research file containing: Story summary Timeline of events Main people/platforms involved Verified facts Allegations and unverified claims clearly labeled Source links for every important claim Screenshots or archive links when legally/safely available Key quotes from articles or documents Documentary angle Possible hook/title ideas Thumbnail text ideas Monetization/legal sensitivity notes Questions that still need verification **Ideal Candidate** The ideal person is part journalist, part OSINT researcher, part internet historian.
