Italian Luxury Fabric Sourcing Specialist (Italy)

We are looking for an experienced fabric sourcing specialist based in Italy to help source premium fabrics for a new luxury apparel brand. We are looking for someone with existing relationships within the Italian textile industry who can introduce us to suitable mills and help identify fabrics that meet our technical and aesthetic requirements. Ideally you: - Are based in Italy. - Have experience working directly with Italian textile mills. - Have contacts within luxury fashion fabric manufacturers. - Understand premium womenswear fabrics. - Are comfortable working with start-ups and lower minimum order quantities. - Speak fluent Italian and English. The first stage of the project is research and supplier identification. We are looking for suitable mills capable of supplying fabrics such as: - TENCEL™ Lyocell - TENCEL™ Modal - Rayon / Viscose - Seacell (or similar regenerated cellulose fabrics) - Saxcell (if available) - Premium cottons - Luxury natural fibre blends - Stretch woven fabrics suitable for luxury womenswear Where appropriate, fabrics may include a small percentage of elastane for comfort and movement. Deliverbles: - A shortlist of suitable Italian mills. - Contact details for each mill. - Recommended fabric qualities. - Available compositions. - Approximate fabric weights. - Minimum order quantities. - Indicative pricing (if available). - Sample availability. - Your recommendation for which mills best suit a premium luxury brand. If suitable, we would like this project to develop into an ongoing relationship where you assist with introductions, communication and future sourcing.
