Job Title: Japanese-English Bilingual Technical Consultant – Enterprise SaaS Product Job Type: Contract | Part-time | Remote About the Engagement We are a B2B AI/SaaS company rolling out an enterprise software product for a client in Japan. We need a bilingual technical consultant to bridge the language and communication gap between our delivery team and the client's Japanese end-users and management stakeholders. What You'll Do User Training: Conduct or co-facilitate technical training sessions for native Japanese users on our SaaS platform — covering core workflows, dashboard usage, and interpreting AI-generated insights Weekly Calls: Join weekly project sync calls between our team and the client's management as a technical interpreter and facilitator — translating both language and technical context in real time Documentation Support: Help translate and localize training materials, user guides, and meeting notes between Japanese and English as needed UAT Support: Assist during User Acceptance Testing by facilitating communication between Japanese testers and our technical team Requirements Native Japanese speaker Fluent in English — able to discuss technical SaaS topics comfortably in both languages Prior experience in a technical or IT consulting / implementation role Comfortable quickly learning and explaining a new SaaS platform to non-technical users Reliable internet connection and availability for scheduled weekly calls (overlap with IST required, as our team is India-based) Nice to Have Background in retail, FMCG, or CPG industry Experience with mobile apps used in field sales or merchandising Prior experience as a technical trainer or bilingual implementation consultant Engagement Details Duration: 3–6 months, with potential to extend Hours: ~5–10 hours/week (weekly calls + training sessions + async support) Time zone: Must be available during Japan business hours with some IST overlap To Apply Please include: A brief note on your technical background and SaaS / enterprise software experience Your availability and time zone Any prior experience in bilingual technical training or interpretation
