Java Developer

Job Title: Big Data / Data Engineering Specialist (Java) Role Overview We are seeking a high-caliber Java Developer specializing in Data Engineering and Big Data ecosystems to design, build, and optimize our core data infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting robust data pipelines, managing massive distributed datasets, and ensuring our data platform can scale seamlessly. Key Responsibilities Pipeline Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest and process large-scale structured and unstructured data. Distributed Processing: Optimize distributed data processing jobs and manage clusters to ensure low-latency data availability. System Integration: Integrate complex data streams into centralized data lakes and data warehouses, ensuring high data quality and strict type safety. Performance Tuning: Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks within the JVM and distributed data environments. Required Technical Skills Core Java: Deep expertise in Java (Object-Oriented Design, Concurrency, Memory Management/GC tuning). Big Data Ecosystem: Hands-on experience with tools like Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, Hadoop, or Flink. Data Architecture: Strong understanding of distributed systems, data modeling, NoSQL databases, and relational storage. Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with cloud data services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
