Data Integration Developer – JewelCloud (Our Platform) Position Summary GemFind is seeking a Data Integration Developer to support the creation and maintenance of product-data integrations for the JewelCloud platform. This role will retrieve data from third-party APIs, SQL databases, and CSV files, then transform it into standardized, JewelCloud-ready product data. The developer will work closely with the Director of Platform & AI Strategy to build, test, and troubleshoot console applications, SQL queries, and data-conversion processes. Key Responsibilities Review API documentation and retrieve product, pricing, inventory, image, and availability data.Develop and maintain C#/.NET console applications, including legacy .NET Framework 3.5 applications.Write custom SQL queries to extract and format data from customer and vendor databases.Transform JSON, XML, CSV, and SQL data into JewelCloud-compatible formats.Prepare SQL output for use with the GemSQL application.Create and validate parent-product and variant-product relationships.Map fields such as SKUs, categories, collections, pricing, metals, gemstones, images, and inventory. Identify and correct duplicate, incomplete, inconsistent, or improperly formatted data.Test data exports and compare source records against JewelCloud-ready output. Document field mappings, transformation rules, SQL queries, and vendor-specific requirements. Required Skills Experience with SQL, C# and Microsoft .NET console application development. Ability to support and test .NET Framework 3.5 applications. Experience working with REST APIs and JSON or XML responses.Strong Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL skills. Ability to write queries using joins, filtering, grouping, and conditional logic. Experience importing, exporting, cleaning, and transforming CSV data.Understanding of ETL, data mapping, and product-data normalization. Strong troubleshooting and data-validation skills. Ability to work independently with large and sometimes inconsistent datasets.Preferred Qualifications Experience with jewelry, diamond, gemstone, retail, or e-commerce product data.Understanding of jewelry terminology, including metals, stone types, carat weights, pricing, styles, and product variants.Experience with configurable products, parent SKUs, and variant SKUs.Familiarity with FTP/SFTP, Git, Visual Studio, and scheduled data-processing applications.Experience preparing product data for Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or similar platforms.
