Job Search & Resume Assistant – Entry-Level Product Manager Roles (Southern California)

I'm looking for a reliable, detail-oriented assistant to help a recent university graduate find and apply for entry-level Product Manager positions in Southern California. This is a short-term, part-time role role with two main parts: Research Identify open positions across job boards, company career pages, and any other relevant sources - including roles that may not appear on the major platforms. Target locations are Orange County, San Diego, and Los Angeles, with potential expansion to the San Francisco/Bay Area. Relevant job titles include: • Associate Product Manager • Junior Product Manager • Entry-Level Product Manager • Product Associate • Business Intelligence (entry-level) Application Support Once we've selected the most relevant positions, you'll help personalize the candidate's resume and application materials for each role. The candidate will submit the applications themselves - your role is preparing the tailored materials. The typical workflow will be: 1. You research and present open positions 2. We review and choose which ones to pursue 3. You customize the resume and materials for each selected role 4. The candidate applies What I'm looking for: • Experience with job market research or recruiting/sourcing • Strong English writing skills (resume and cover letter customization is a key part of this role) • Familiarity with the tech industry or product management hiring is a plus • Organized and proactive - able to work independently and present findings clearly I need someone who can get started right away.
