We are seeking a dedicated Job Search Specialist to assist our team in finding and applying for job opportunities. The ideal candidate will have experience in job searching, resume building, and cover letter writing. You will be responsible for identifying job openings, tailoring resumes and cover letters, and submitting applications on behalf of our clients. This is a remote, part-time position with a long-term opportunity for the right candidate. We’re looking for detail-oriented professionals who enjoy research, organization, and helping people advance their careers. ⸻ Role Overview As a Job Search Specialist, you will manage a client’s job search on their behalf. You will learn the client’s background, identify relevant job opportunities, tailor application materials where appropriate, submit applications, and maintain an organized record of every opportunity. This role requires excellent judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. ⸻ Responsibilities * Understand each client’s professional background and career goals. * Search LinkedIn, Indeed, company career pages, and other job boards for relevant openings. * Evaluate job postings based on client-specific criteria. * Identify high-quality opportunities rather than applying indiscriminately. * Tailor resumes and cover letters using client-provided guidelines. *Optimize the resume for each role, including ATS keyword optimization * Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) to analyze job descriptions, improve resumes, and prepare tailored application materials. * Complete and submit job applications accurately. * Maintain a detailed application tracker including: * Company * Position * Location * Salary (if available) * Date applied * Resume version used * Application status * Follow-up dates * Monitor recruiter responses and notify clients promptly. * Escalate uncertain opportunities before applying. ⸻ Required Skills * Excellent written English. * Strong research abilities. * Exceptional attention to detail. * Comfortable using spreadsheets and online forms. * Strong organizational skills. * Ability to make sound judgments about job fit. * Ability to handle confidential information professionally. ⸻ Preferred Qualifications Experience in one or more of the following: * Recruiting * Talent Acquisition * Human Resources * Resume Writing * Career Coaching * Executive Search * Administrative Support * Virtual Assistance Experience with AI tools (such as ChatGPT) is a plus, provided they are used responsibly and all work is reviewed for accuracy. ⸻ What Success Looks Like Successful specialists consistently: * Find highly relevant opportunities. * Submit accurate, well-prepared applications. * Keep meticulous records. * Communicate proactively. * Deliver an excellent client experience.
