Job Title: GIS Data Annotator (3D Network Scans) – EU Region Only

We are looking for detail-oriented Data Annotators based in the European Union (EU) to help build "Digital Twins" of underground telecommunications infrastructure for a major German telecom provider. You will work with a specialized 3D platform (Backoffice) to label network elements based on site scans, photos, and engineering plans. This project requires high precision, a logical understanding of network hierarchies, and the ability to work with technical planning documentation (PDF and QGIS). Key Responsibilities: 3D Point Cloud Annotation: Place trench paths, pipes (splines), and network nodes (NVTs, Manholes, Muffe) accurately within 3D scans. Plan Data Integration: Interpret QGIS files and PDF construction plans to identify pipe colors, sizes, and house addresses. Attribute Labeling: Measure and record trench depths (using rounding rules) and identify surface types (Asphalt, Simple Brick, Mosaic, etc.). Logical Hierarchy: Correctly assign "Parent/Child" relationships to elements according to specific network logic. Geographical Boundaries: Identify property lines using ALKIS map layers and split data segments accordingly. Required Qualifications: Location: Must be a resident of the EU (required for data privacy and synchronization). GIS Skills: Familiarity with QGIS (managing layers, using search plugins). Technical Literacy: Ability to read technical "Bestückungsplan" (Assembly plans) and translate basic German construction terms (or use translation tools effectively). High Attention to Detail: Experience with labeling tasks where small margins (e.g., 5cm depth rounding) matter. Software Proficiency: Comfort with keyboard shortcuts and navigating 3D/XYZ coordinate environments.
