About the Role Our team needs an experienced, Virtual Assistant to help us streamline our daily operations and support our business growth. The ideal freelancer will assist in managing our inbox, coordinating schedules, and preparing background research briefs for upcoming meetings. Our business focuses on B2B sales to K-12 schools and managing investor relations. Your insights and organization will play a key role in increasing our efficiency, response times, and overall productivity. This project is ongoing, and we are aiming to onboard someone immediately to help free up our time to focus entirely on sales and business growth. Key Responsibilities Daily Core Tasks: Email Management: Sorting, organizing, drafting replies, and flagging important messages using Gmail. Calendar Scheduling: Coordinating calls with prospects and investors, identifying key events, and keeping us organized using Google Calendar. Meeting & Research Prep: Conducting background research on schools, founders, or investors prior to our meetings and organizing these notes into a shared Google Doc. Other duties as needed. Future Work & Growth Opportunities: HubSpot CRM Management: Updating deal stages, tracking follow-ups, and managing contact info for schools and investors. LinkedIn Management and Content Creation Candidate Requirements Tech Stack: Highly proficient with Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Docs (HubSpot experience is a major plus). Proactive & Organized: You don't just wait for instructions; you know how to dig for background info on LinkedIn and the web to synthesize a clean meeting brief. Exceptional Communication: Flawless written English, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly to our workflow and brand tone. Independent Worker: Ability to work autonomously once trained. Schedule & Time Zone Commitment: Starting at 3 hours per day, with the potential for extra hours as the workload grows. Location & Time Zone: Open to candidates who can commit to working/overlapping during Central Time (CT) business hours.
