Junior InDesign Designer

I'm looking for a detail-oriented junior designer to assist with client projects on an ongoing basis. Most projects involve annual reports, magazines, newsletters, brochures, flyers, white papers, and other multi-page documents. This role focuses primarily on layout and production work rather than branding, logo design, or illustration. In many cases, you'll be working from layouts I've already created, updating content, making revisions, flowing text into documents, maintaining consistency, and preparing final files for print or digital delivery. Occasionally, there may be opportunities to help develop layouts for new projects. You should be comfortable working in Adobe InDesign and have some experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Canva experience is a plus but not required. I'm looking for someone who has a good eye for clean, organized layouts and pays attention to details. Many projects involve following established brand guidelines, maintaining consistent formatting, and ensuring documents are polished and professional. There are no set hours, and workload will vary depending on project volume. Some weeks it could be 2 hours, some up to 10 hours. As long as deadlines are met and communication is clear, you're free to work on your own schedule. Many projects involve client-confidential materials and may not be available for public portfolio use. This could be a great opportunity for a newer designer who wants to gain experience working on real-world client projects and grow their publication and layout design skills over time.
