KDP Book Formatter Needed – 110,000 Word Nonfiction (Real Estate / Legal) with Illustrations

I am seeking an experienced book formatter to prepare a full-length nonfiction manuscript for publication on Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP). Project Overview: Approximately 110,000 words with 40 illustrations and diagrams (some small some full page) Subject matter: real estate investing with legal concepts Manuscript currently in Microsoft Word Includes diagrams and illustrations throughout Scope of Work: Format manuscript for Kindle (EPUB) and paperback (print-ready PDF) Ensure professional formatting of headings, spacing, and overall readability Properly format and position illustrations/diagrams for both Kindle and print Create a clickable table of contents Ensure files meet all KDP technical requirements Additional Guidance Requested: I would appreciate input on: Whether the illustrations will display well on Kindle Whether a separate PDF version is recommended for optimal presentation Guidance on whether to remove some chapters to shorten book Price Point recommendations for kindle ebook and print version to maximize revenue potential Ideal Candidate: Proven experience formatting nonfiction books for KDP Experience handling books with diagrams, charts, or technical content Strong attention to detail and layout design Ability to communicate clearly and provide recommendations Preference for NYC / Southern CT location as would prefer to meet but open to remote worker in USA.
