STAGE 1 : F&B Sourcing Agent for Private-Label OEM Project

We are seeking an experienced Korea-based sourcing agent or procurement specialist to identify and evaluate suitable South Korean manufacturers for a private-label F&B product intended for export. Although this project is for stage 1, the entire project consists of 3 stages and we would ideally like to continue working with you for the remainder of the project too which will paid for outside the scope of this stage. Therefore we ask candidates who are possess the skills relevant to all 3 stages to apply for this job, even though this posting only relates to stage 1 Manufacturer sourcing and shortlisting. Overview of Full Project Stage 1: Manufacturer Search and Shortlisting
 Stage 2: Sample Coordination, Commercial Discussions and Final Manufacturer Selection
 Stage 3: Order Placement, Production Follow-Up and Korean-Side Shipment Coordination A detailed brief will be provided in both English and Korean at the beginning of each stage, setting out the relevant scope, requirements and deliverables. In some cases, pre-prepared spreadsheets and reporting templates will also be supplied for your ease and convenience. A discretionary performance bonus may be awarded for work that is completed promptly, thoroughly and to a consistently high standard. The selected agent will assist us in identifying Korean manufacturers that: STAGE 1 scope includes: 1. identifying and preliminarily evaluating suitable South Korean manufacturers; 2. contacting manufacturers and confirming OEM/private-label capability, MOQs, packaging options, indicative unit pricing and lead times 3. summarizing findings in the supplied spreadsheets and offering a recommendation Required experience Applicants should ideally have: * professional fluency in Korean and English; * direct experience sourcing from South Korean manufacturers; * experience with OEM or private-label manufacturing; * experience coordinating samples, quotations and export documentation; * the ability to verify whether a supplier is an actual manufacturer; strong written reporting and commercial communication skills; bonus points for: *experience with food, beverages, functional foods, packaged foods or FMCG products; * an understanding of food-manufacturing certifications and supplier verification Being physically based in South Korea is required.
