Korean-English Dubbing Adapter

We are seeking a Korean- English Dubbing Adapter to adapt translated scripts into natural, lip-sync-friendly dialogue. In this role, you will ensure emotional authenticity, cultural accuracy, and precise pacing so international content resonates with global audiences. You will also help bring Korean films, series, documentaries, and digital content to English-speaking audiences while preserving the original tone, intent, and cultural nuances. Key Responsibilities Adapt translated Korean scripts into fluent, natural-sounding English dialogue. Ensure dialogue is lip-sync compatible and aligns with on-screen mouth movements. Maintain the original tone, character voice, humor, and emotional intent. Work within strict timing and pacing constraints required for dubbing. Collaborate with project managers, linguists, and reviewers to deliver high-quality content. Revise scripts based on editorial feedback and client requirements. Required Qualifications Native or near-native proficiency in English. Professional proficiency in Korean. Proven experience in dubbing adaptation, audiovisual translation, script localization, subtitling, or screenwriting. Strong understanding of lip-sync, timing, and dialogue adaptation techniques. Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently. Preferred Qualifications Experience adapting content for TV, film, animation, gaming, or streaming platforms. Familiarity with Korean culture, idioms, and contemporary language usage. Background in creative writing, media production, or localization. Experience working with dubbing studios or localization vendors.
