LATAM Dev Shop — TypeScript/AWS Serverless + Next.js Staff Aug — Rate Card + Paid Pilot

We operate a multi-tenant consumer ordering platform for large enterprise restaurant brands. The core stack is ~44 TypeScript microservices on AWS Lambda + DynamoDB + SNS/SQS (SAM/CloudFormation IaC), a Next.js 15 consumer frontend (Turborepo monorepo with NestJS API, Next.js web and admin apps, Expo mobile), and an Angular 18 operator UI. All services are TypeScript strict, Node 22, deployed via GitHub Actions CI/CD to AWS us-east-1 / eu-west-1. We're evaluating 2–3 LATAM shops for a 6–12 month staff augmentation engagement, starting with a paid 2-week pilot. We want a pod structure — not a single freelancer. SWE Junior - TypeScript, Node.js basics, some AWS Lambda exposure SWE Mid - TypeScript, AWS serverless (Lambda/DynamoDB/SQS), REST APIs, unit testing (Jest/Jasmine) SWE Senior - Everything above + event-driven architecture, SAM/CloudFormation authoring, cross-service system design, code review ownership QA Engineer - Jest/Jasmine unit, Playwright E2E, API testing, CI integration, test plan authoring Tech Support / L1 - Tier-1 incident triage, runbook execution, escalation routing, English-language async comms Delivery / Account Manager - Sprint facilitation, client-facing status reporting, backlog grooming support, cross-team coordination Required for SWE: TypeScript strict, Node.js 22, AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, SNS/SQS, REST APIs Required for mid/sr: SAM or CDK/CloudFormation, event-driven patterns, GitHub Actions CI/CD Required for frontend: Next.js 14-15, NestJS, Turborepo monorepo Required for QA: Jest or Jasmine, Playwright or Cypress, API contract testing Nice to have: Java 11/Quarkus/Spring Boot, Expo/React Native, AWS CDK PILOT STRUCTURE (2 weeks, paid) SWE mid: scoped Lambda service ticket from our backlog - implement, test, open PR. Est 3-5 days. QA engineer: Playwright E2E coverage for one existing consumer flow. Est 2-3 days. Delivery manager: joins two sprint ceremonies, produces written status update. Pilot is fully paid. Pass the bar and the engagement scales to a 3-6 person pod within 30 days.
