LBO Financial Modelling - Acquisition Model Build

We are seeking an experienced LBO / private equity financial modeler to build a leveraged buyout model for the acquisition of an industrial company. The ideal candidate has strong private equity, investment banking, or leveraged finance experience, ideally with exposure to industrial or manufacturing businesses, and can build a robust, investor-grade model from a defined set of assumptions and transaction details. This is a build-from-scratch engagement. Historical financials and projections will be provided - you will build the full model structure and mechanics around them. The model should include: - Sources & uses of funds - Purchase price / entry valuation - Debt financing and debt schedule - Operating projections - Cash flow and debt paydown - Exit assumptions - Sponsor returns, including IRR and MOIC - Sensitivity analysis Timeline: must be completed by Tuesday, 25 August 2026. Budget: $20–$30/hour. The freelancer should be able to work independently, follow detailed instructions precisely, and deliver a clean, accurate, and well-documented model within the specified timeframe.
