Overview We are building (TLGU), an internal training and onboarding program for our global consultants before they are placed with clients. We are looking for a strong Learning & Development Program Manager / Instructional Designer / LMS Specialist who can own this initiative from A to Z. This is not just a content-writing role. We need someone who can help us design the training program, recommend the right structure, create the learning materials, build assessments, and potentially recommend/configure an LMS if that is the best option. The goal is to create a repeatable training and onboarding system that helps our consultants show up professionally, communicate clearly, understand U.S. client expectations, use AI tools effectively, and succeed in their first 30 days with clients. What You Will Own You will be responsible for helping us build TLGU from the ground up, including: Program strategy Curriculum structure Module sequencing LMS/platform recommendation LMS setup/configuration if needed Training content creation Slide decks Video scripts Facilitator notes Consultant checklists Quizzes and assessments Role-play scenarios Practical exercises Certification/completion criteria Consultant learning paths Feedback and improvement process We want someone who can take rough founder input and turn it into a real learning program. What We Are Building TLGU will likely include three layers: 1. Pre-Client Intro Prep A quick “speedrun” prep before a consultant meets a client. Topics may include: How to introduce yourself professionally How to speak clearly about your experience How to answer common client questions How to show confidence without over-talking What not to say during client intro calls How to ask thoughtful questions about the role How to demonstrate ownership and professionalism quickly 2. Core Consultant Onboarding Training every consultant should complete before or shortly after being placed. Topics may include: TechLoom Global expectations Professionalism and ownership Communication standards Responsiveness Working with U.S.-based clients First 30 days success framework Meeting notes, agendas, and next steps Executive presence Cultural assimilation / U.S. client readiness AI tools basics Security and privacy expectations 3. Role-Specific Learning Paths Role-specific modules for common consultant roles. Potential roles include: Patient coordinator / healthcare admin Bookkeeper Executive assistant / operations support Marketing specialist Construction project coordinator Customer success specialist Onboarding specialist Sales support / SDR Other future roles Key Modules We Want to Build 1. We need someone who can help us evaluate and recommend the best platform or setup based on our goals. Possible options may include: TalentLMS LearnWorlds Thinkific Trainual Moodle Notion-based learning hub Google Classroom Custom lightweight portal Other LMS or training platforms you recommend We need help answering: Do we need a formal LMS now, or should we start with a lightweight learning hub? What platform is best for a small but growing consultant training program? How should modules, quizzes, completion tracking, and certifications be structured? What is the easiest setup to maintain? What is scalable enough as we grow? How should we track completion and performance? How should consultants access the materials? What should be automated vs manual? If an LMS is recommended, we would like this person to help configure the platform and organize the content inside it. Responsibilities You will help us: Design the overall TLGU learning strategy Recommend the best LMS or learning platform Configure the LMS or learning hub if selected Build the curriculum map Define core and role-specific learning paths Turn rough founder notes and SOPs into polished training modules Create slide decks, scripts, assessments, and practical exercises Create consultant checklists, templates, and job aids Build quizzes and completion criteria Develop role-play scenarios and real-world practice exercises Create materials around communication, executive presence, cultural assimilation, meeting notes, agendas, next steps, and AI tools Recommend how to sequence pre-client intro prep vs post-hire onboarding Help create a repeatable process for updating and improving the program over time Ideal Background We are looking for someone with experience in one or more of the following: Learning & development program design Instructional design LMS implementation Corporate training Employee onboarding Consultant onboarding Curriculum development Remote team training Cross-cultural communication training Executive presence coaching Business communication training AI productivity training SOP-to-training conversion Training operations / enablement Bonus if you have experience creating training for: Offshore/global teams Virtual assistants Consultants Customer support teams Healthcare admin teams Sales/admin/operations roles Professional services or staffing companies Non-native English speakers working with U.S.-based clients Skills Needed Strong candidates should be able to: Own a training program from strategy to execution Recommend the right LMS or learning platform Configure and organize learning content inside a platform Structure messy ideas into clear training modules Write practical, professional training content Create engaging slides and scripts Develop quizzes and assessments Build role-play scenarios and practical exercises Create content for global consultants and non-native English speakers Teach communication, professionalism, executive presence, and cultural readiness in a practical way Understand business context quickly Think in terms of behavior change, not just information Use AI tools to speed up content creation Work independently with minimal hand-holding Initial Deliverables Initial deliverables may include: Recommendation on LMS vs lightweight learning hub LMS/platform comparison and recommendation LMS setup/configuration if selected TLGU curriculum map Consultant learning paths First 3–5 core training modules Slide decks for each module Video scripts / recording outlines Quizzes or assessments for each module Consultant prep checklist Client intro call prep guide Meeting notes / agenda / next steps templates AI tools basics module Executive presence module Cultural assimilation / U.S. client readiness module First 30 days success module Completion/certification framework What We Will Provide We will provide: Company context Rough module ideas Existing SOPs and training notes Founder guidance Examples of client expectations Role-specific context Feedback on drafts We are looking for someone who can bring structure, recommendations, and execution — not someone who needs every step dictated.
