LMS Course Developer / LMS Implementation Specialist

LMS Course Developer / LMS Implementation Specialist Project Overview Meridian Academy is seeking an experienced LMS Course Developer / LMS Implementation Specialist to help transform our completed educational materials into a polished, engaging, and fully functional online learning experience. We are not looking for someone to develop, rewrite, or independently modify the curriculum. Our educational and training content is already being developed. The primary responsibility of this role will be to take finalized materials provided by our team and professionally build, organize, format, and implement them within our learning management system. Experience with TalentLMS or a comparable LMS is strongly preferred. The selected freelancer will be responsible for: - Building and organizing modules, courses, and lessons within the LMS - Professionally formatting and presenting completed course content - Creating quizzes and examinations using questions and answer keys provided by Meridian Academy - Configuring passing scores, retake policies, prerequisites, and course progression - Creating and implementing course completion and certification certificates - Uploading PDFs, documents, reference materials, and other educational resources - Incorporating graphics, videos, and other multimedia elements where appropriate - Ensuring courses are visually professional, intuitive, and functional on both desktop and mobile devices - Establishing a consistent Meridian Academy course template that can be reused across current and future programs - Maintaining consistent branding, navigation, formatting, and learner experience across all courses - Testing courses thoroughly before launch and identifying any functionality, formatting, or usability issues. Content & Approval Requirements The freelancer will work exclusively from approved materials provided by Meridian Academy. The role does not include independently developing or rewriting clinical, compliance, educational, or operational content. The freelancer must not make substantive changes to clinical, compliance, or operational content without prior approval from Meridian Academy. Any recommended changes related to content, accuracy, structure, or learner requirements should be brought to our attention before implementation. Important Clarification This is an LMS implementation and course production role—not a curriculum development role. We will provide the educational content, questions, answer keys, reference materials, and other source materials. Your responsibility is to transform those materials into a professional, attractive, organized, engaging, and functional online learning experience.
