LQA Tester & Culture Validation Specialist (Navigation App Project – EN AU / EN NZ / EN SG)

We are looking for qualified freelancers for a new localization QA and cultural validation project for a navigation app in English (Australia), English (New Zealand), and English (Singapore). Project Overview This project consists of two main tasks: Task 1: Linguistic Quality Assurance (LQA) – App Testing After translation is completed, you will be required to: Test the application in-app using an Android device Perform functional and linguistic QA checks Capture screenshots or screen recordings of issues Report findings using a provided LQA Excel template Identify both linguistic and functional issues during testing Estimated workload: 5–7 working days Requirement: Android smartphone (mandatory) Task 2: Cultural Validation & Market Research You will evaluate the app for cultural, legal, and user experience suitability in one of the target markets (AU / NZ / SG), including: Review of political, legal, and cultural requirements Identification of cultural taboos or sensitive content risks Assessment of user expectations for navigation apps in the local market Comparison with major local navigation apps Documentation of findings per country Include screenshots where competitor apps perform better, or detailed explanations if not available Estimated workload: 0.5–1 working day Requirements (Mandatory) Native speaker of English (Australia) OR English (New Zealand) OR English (Singapore) Must be a citizen or long-term resident of the relevant country Strong English reading and writing skills Minimum 1 year of translation or localization experience Valid driving license with at least 1 year of driving experience (copy required; sensitive information may be hidden) Nice to Have Experience using navigation apps in the local market Experience in research-oriented tasks Previous LQA or software localization experience Application Requirements If you meet the requirements and are interested, please send: Updated CV Copy of driving license (sensitive details may be hidden)
