Job Title: Remote Land Survey CAD Drafter – Field-to-Finish Company: 3TCI, Inc. Location: Remote Job Type: Independent Contractor / Freelance (or specify Part-Time/Full-Time if applicable) About the Role 3TCI, Inc. is looking for an experienced Land Survey CAD Drafter to join our team remotely. You'll receive field notes and raw survey data from our field crews and turn them into accurate, finished drawings — boundary surveys, topographic maps, plats, and site plans. This is a field-to-finish position, so strong experience translating raw field data into polished, client-ready drawings is essential. Responsibilities Receive field notes, data collector files, and raw survey data from field crews Process and reduce survey data to produce accurate base drawings Draft boundary surveys, topographic surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys, plats, and site plans Apply company drafting standards, layer conventions, and title block templates Calculate closures, areas, and easements as needed Review and QA drawings for accuracy against field data Communicate with field crews and project managers to resolve discrepancies or missing data Meet agreed-upon turnaround times per project Requirements Proven experience in land survey drafting (field-to-finish workflow) Proficiency in [Civil 3D / Carlson Survey / AutoCAD — specify your software] Strong understanding of legal descriptions, boundary law basics, and survey terminology Ability to read and interpret raw field notes and data collector files Reliable internet connection and remote work setup Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good communication and ability to meet deadlines
