Landscape Designer Needed – 2D Plan + 3D Rendered Images for Residential Front & Backyard We are looking for an experienced landscape designer to help us design the front and backyard of a residential home in Melbourne, Australia. The design needs to feel clean, modern, architectural and high-end, but still practical for a young family. We are looking for someone who can take our ideas, site dimensions, photos, and inspiration images and turn them into a polished landscape concept. Scope of Work We need: 1. 2D landscape concept plan * Front yard layout * Backyard layout * Pathways, steps, retaining/tiering if required * Planting zones * Feature tree placement * Pool/deck/play area options if applicable * Materials and surface finishes 2. 3D rendered images * Front yard view from the street * View looking back toward the house * Backyard view/s * Key design moments such as steps, planting, pool/deck, seating or feature tree * Daytime renders with realistic materials and planting 3. Planting and materials suggestions * Suitable for Melbourne climate * Low maintenance * Modern/minimal palette * Feature tree options with strong visual impact * Hardscape suggestions such as concrete, aggregate, decking, retaining walls, lighting and edging Project Details The home has a modern rendered white exterior. We are aiming for a minimal, architectural look with strong curb appeal. The front yard is north-facing, approximately 6m deep, with around 8m width available after the driveway. There is a slight slope/drop toward the front door, so we are considering a terraced or tiered design with concrete steps and planting. The backyard also needs to be designed with family use in mind. We are considering options such as a deck, seating, pool/plunge pool, play area or multi-purpose space. We will provide: * Site dimensions * Photos/videos of the property * House plans if required * Inspiration images * Notes on materials and design preferences Style Direction We like: * Modern Australian landscaping * Clean lines * Minimal planting palette * Feature trees with sculptural form * Burnt/formed concrete steps * Light exposed aggregate driveway * Tiered/terraced front gardens * Natural texture but not messy or overgrown * High-end but understated design We do not want anything overly tropical, fussy, cottage-style, or high maintenance. Ideal Freelancer You should have experience with: * Residential landscape design * 2D landscape plans * 3D visualisation/renders * Modern/minimal garden design * Sloped sites or terraced front yards * Planting design suitable for Australian/Mediterranean climates Experience with Australian projects is preferred, but not essential if you can design appropriately for the climate and style.
