Lapping Machine Design & Development Consultant

I am looking for an experienced lapping/grinding/polishing machine designer or process engineer to assist and consult on the design and development of a small precision lapping machine. The machine is small in size, but I need someone with deep practical, hands-on experience in grinding, lapping, polishing, tooling, and process development—not only theoretical knowledge. Basic requirements Workpiece size: up to 80 mm diameter Base plate: approximately 340 mm diameter Machine should support lapping, and polishing processes. Water-based / oil-free abrasive slurry is preferred Areas where I need expert assistance Platen/groove design and optimization Selection of suitable platen materials and surface configuration Abrasive and slurry selection for different materials/process stages Oil-free / water-based slurry recommendations Conditioning ring design Conditioning ring material selection Workpiece holding/fixturing concepts Grinding → lapping → polishing process sequence Selection of suitable abrasives, particle sizes, concentrations, etc and source from where to buy it with specific partnumber. Practical recommendations for achieving good flatness, surface finish, and uniform material removal General mechanical design and process-development guidance The materials I am working with may include molybdenum, tungsten, silicon carbide, quartz, sapphire, and other hard/technical materials I am particularly interested in someone who has actually designed, operated, or developed lapping/grinding/polishing equipment and processes, and can provide practical guidance on what works in real machines. This is intended to be a consulting + design-development engagement, potentially continuing through prototype construction and testing. Hands-on practical experience is much more important to me than general theoretical knowledge.
