Laravel Developer Needed: OpenAI Text-to-Speech API Integration for Accessibility

We run an educational website built on Laravel and are looking for an experienced developer to integrate OpenAI's Text-to-Speech (TTS) API. This feature will convert on-page text content into natural-sounding audio, making our platform accessible to visually impaired students. Scope of work: Integrate the OpenAI TTS API into our existing Laravel application Add a "Listen" / play-audio control on relevant content pages (lessons, articles, etc.) Handle audio generation, playback controls (play, pause, stop), and basic caching to avoid repeat API calls and reduce cost Support voice and speed selection if feasible Ensure the feature is responsive and works across modern browsers Follow accessibility best practices (ARIA labels, keyboard navigation) Requirements: Strong experience with Laravel (PHP) Prior work with OpenAI or similar API integrations Familiarity with web accessibility standards (WCAG) is a big plus Clean, well-documented code
