Large Format Poster & Wall Graphic Designer

We are seeking an experienced graphic designer to create a series of large-format healthcare posters, wall graphics, and possibly floor graphics. This is an immediate project requiring approximately 20+ hours per week for the next few weeks. We are looking for someone who can begin right away and manage multiple designs and sizes within established brand guidelines. PROJECT SCOPE: Design sizes will include: • 2 ft. × 3 ft. posters • 4 ft. × 4 ft. graphics • 8 ft. × 12 ft. wall graphics • Additional custom dimensions as needed Most designs will be bilingual in English and Spanish. We will provide the approved copy in both languages. We will also provide the brand standards and logos. The designer will be responsible for creating clear, attractive layouts that present both languages effectively without appearing crowded. Some posters may use both languages in the same graphic. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Design professional, visually engaging healthcare posters and wall graphics • Create layouts that work effectively in both English and Spanish • Source appropriate high-resolution, royalty-free photography and imagery • Follow our existing brand standards, colors, fonts, and visual style • Prepare artwork correctly for large-format commercial printing • Resize or adapt approved concepts into multiple dimensions and formats • Make revisions based on feedback from our team • Coordinate with our local printer when necessary to confirm production requirements • Maintain organized files and consistent naming conventions across the project TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Final print-ready PDF files • Editable source files in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, or Photoshop • CMYK color mode using the printer’s preferred color profile • Correct bleed, trim, safe zones, and crop marks based on printer specifications • High-resolution images appropriate for each graphic’s final dimensions • Vector artwork and logos whenever possible • Fonts outlined in the final print-ready files or properly packaged with the source files • PDF/X-4 or another PDF standard requested by our printer • Artwork produced at full size or at an approved scale, with the scale clearly identified • Proof or documentation showing that all stock images are properly licensed for commercial use QUALIFICATIONS: • Experience designing large-format graphics, wall graphics, signage • Strong understanding of commercial print-production requirements • Portfolio containing examples of large-format work • Strong typography and layout skills • Ability to work accurately with bilingual content • Experience with healthcare and/or multi-location brands is strongly preferred • Excellent attention to detail, file organization, and communication • Ability to begin immediately and commit to 20 hours per week for the next few weeks • Experience in designing and preparing artwork specifically for large-format printing.
