Project Overview I need professional, separated/layered illustrations of two cartoon dog characters for use in an animated educational video series (built in Remotion/React). The characters need to be delivered as separate layers, not a single flat image, so each part can be animated independently in code. Style Reference The images in the attached file capture the art style, linework, and rendering quality I want: clean black outlines, expressive large eyes, warm and appealing to young children (this is for a Grade 4 math education product). Note that the two characters have different coat types (Bubby is long and fluffy, Lulu is short and smooth) — please preserve that distinction rather than unifying their fur style. Please illustrate both characters with collars that have tags that prominently display the dogs’ names. Lulu should have small pink bows in her ears. Bubby should have no other accessory besides the collar. The illustrations must stay flexible for reuse across many bundles/scenes without a mismatched wardrobe item. I would like the characters to look nearly identical to the attached images. Characters Needed 1. Bubby White fluffy cavachon (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel x Bichon Frise mix) ● Coat: long, fluffy, rounded silhouette; white with tan/cream floppy ears ● Personality: lazy, stubborn, curious, mischievous, funny ● Key expressions needed: neutral/idle, curious head-tilt, alert/perked ear, running/chasing pose ● Notable trait: tilts his head when trying to understand something 2. Lulu Black-and-tan short-coated dog (terrier-mix type build) ● Coat: short, smooth fur; black base with tan/copper markings above the eyes, on the cheeks/muzzle sides, legs, and a white patch on the chest; longer, slightly curled tail (not fluffy like Bubby's) ● Ears: floppy, pointed at the tips (not rounded like Bubby's) ● Personality: shy, nervous, spazzy, eager to please ● Key expressions needed: neutral/idle, shy/ducking pose, engaged/teaching pose (forward-leaning, attentive), curious head-tilt Additional Static Poses for Print Materials In addition to the animation states above, please also provide the following natural dog poses (no human-like gestures — e.g. no thumbs up, no holding objects like pencils) for use in worksheets, title pages, and other print materials: ● Sitting, alert and facing forward (hero/cover pose) ● Standing, looking up/curious (head slightly raised, ears perked) ● Lying down, relaxed ● Sitting with head tilted (playful/thinking pose) ● Standing mid-stride/walking ● Play bow (front of body lowered, chest close to the ground, backend raised in the air) — classic playful invitation pose Both characters should be provided in each of these poses, maintaining the same layered-file requirement as the animation states, so they can be repositioned/recolored/reused flexibly across different print layouts. Required Deliverable Format Each character delivered as a layered file (PSD or AI preferred) with these separated as individual elements: ● Head (base, no ears) ● Left ear ● Right ear ● Eyes (separate from head if possible, for blink/expression changes) ● Mouth (separate, for open/closed/smile variations) ● Body ● Tail Additionally, please export each layer as an individual transparent PNG at high resolution (at least 2000px on the longest side). The two characters should read as a cohesive pair from the same show despite their different coats — consistent linework weight, eye style, and overall rendering approach. Usage Rights I need full commercial usage rights / a full buyout, as these characters will be used across a commercial children's education product line (worksheets, videos, and possibly future merchandise). Please confirm your standard licensing terms and include commercial buyout pricing in your quote.
