Layout Artist for InDesign

I am looking for an experienced layout artist / graphic designer to redesign and lay out a professional PDF report using Adobe InDesign. The project involves taking the text content from an existing PDF document and creating a visually polished, modern, and reader-friendly report layout. The designer will be required to work with both text and visuals. Some images, charts, icons, or graphics may be provided, while others may need to be created or redesigned by the designer to fit the overall style of the report. The final design should be clean, professional, consistent, and suitable for business, training, coaching, and assessment-related use. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in: Adobe InDesign for report layout and publication design Adobe Illustrator for icons, diagrams, and vector graphics Adobe Photoshop for image editing and enhancement Creating clean and professional report layouts Working with long-form documents and multi-page PDF reports Balancing text, charts, images, icons, headers, footers, and page numbering Maintaining visual consistency across all pages Preparing files for both digital PDF and possible print use The scope of work may include: Redesigning the existing PDF into a more modern and professional layout Creating or adapting images, diagrams, icons, and visual elements Laying out text from the existing document into InDesign CS6 Ensuring that all text is readable and does not overflow or get truncated Designing consistent headers, footers, section titles, callout boxes, and page numbers Using provided brand assets, colours, logos, and design references where applicable Preparing the final deliverables in both editable and export formats Expected deliverables: Editable Adobe InDesign file Packaged InDesign folder with linked images and fonts, where permitted Print-ready PDF Web-optimised PDF Editable Illustrator files for any custom graphics or diagrams created Exported PNG/JPEG files in illustrator/photoshop for all images or icons The designer should be comfortable working from an existing PDF document, interpreting the content, and improving the visual presentation without changing the intended meaning of the text. Attention to detail is important, especially in ensuring that text, images, charts, and page elements are properly aligned, consistent, and professionally presented. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing professional reports, training manuals, assessment reports, psychometric reports, corporate brochures, learning materials, or similar business documents.
