Layout Designer
Worldwide
At Two-Brain Business, We work with a huge team of mentors who teach gym owners how to run profitable businesses. Content is our backbone. Our founder turned a daily blog into a $20 million+ company. Our team is looking for a remote layout designer who will arrange images, text, and other elements in publications to create an overall attractive and cohesive look. A little about us: We are detail people, and Two-Brain runs on a very tight schedule. Our standard: accurate work on time every time no matter what. If you’ve ever missed a deadline, please do not apply. We won’t be a match. As a layout designer, you will create mockups for approval, balance layout elements, collaborate with copywriters, and other media or content staff. Successful candidates will have education in graphic design or a related field and experience with design software, including Photoshop and Adobe InDesign. Advanced computer skills, creativity, and attention to detail are required. Here's a non-exhaustive list of things our team does every day: Coordinating with the team on projects including graphic designers, editors, and writers. Arranging page elements for screens and printed media. Determining text and image size for each page. Manipulating image aspect ratio for optimum viewing. Modifying page graphics to work with the images and text. The job is part time, and it’s remote. We expect the work to be project based and ongoing. In your proposal, please state your favorite color in the first sentence. Education is an asset, but we are really looking for creative problem solvers who are able to create visually striking content that invites the reader to explore all aspects of the page. Requirements Proficient in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Strong portfolio showcasing experience in layout design Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory Attention to detail and ability to produce error-free designs Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams remotely Knowledge of print production processes and understanding of file formats suitable for print
