Lead Full Stack Engineer - AI Optimization

We are a highly successful international adventure travel operator with a 10-year track record of world-class customer satisfaction. We operate four established brands—covering high-altitude trekking, safaris, and polar expeditions—and are now reinventing our technological baseline. We are entering a high-intensity engineering phase to consolidate our entire ecosystem into a single, cutting-edge "operating system" and automated booking engine. You will lead several developers and work alongside a designer and content migration specialists under one roof in a premium startup hacker-house in a major metro in the Philippines (Depending on where the best applicants surface). We will be hiring over the next two weeks and getting started working by the first part of July. The Opportunity: The Sprint & Beyond The Sprint: A 3-to-6 month intensive to build core infrastructure, migrate legacy data, and activate automated pipelines. The Future: This is an ongoing position. Post-launch, you will own the technical optimization of AI-driven ad-loops, new vertical expansions, and a world-class customer portal. What You’ll Do: Architecture: Own a unified Next.js/Payload CMS monorepo serving all brands from one high-performance Postgres DB. Leadership: Act as the technical anchor, mentoring a mid-level and junior dev while enforcing strict code quality and parameterized queries. AI Velocity: Champion the use of AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor) to multiply team shipping speed. Core Infrastructure: Code high-risk components including atomic transactional logic for inventory, Stripe webhooks, and Google Ads API integrations. Data Spine: Set up first-party event tracking in Postgres to stitch user journeys and execute server-side conversion forwarding.
