Lead Project Manager

PROJECT MANAGER — MARKETING AGENCY (TECHNICAL MIGRATION TO START, ONGOING POTENTIAL) We're a fast-growing digital marketing agency, and we have a problem a great project manager will love solving. Our developers are excellent at building, but they are not project managers. Right now we're migrating hundreds of live Zapier automations over to n8n, and the work keeps stalling because nobody owns the timeline, the sequencing, or the weekly accountability. The automations run real parts of our business, so they cannot break during the move. We need someone to bring order, drive momentum, and make sure we move forward every single week. This starts with the migration, but we run a lot of moving projects across the agency. Over time, and especially if we like what we see, you'll likely take on marketing project management as well: client campaigns, website builds, SEO and paid ads deliverables, and the internal systems that support them. We're looking for someone who can grow into a go-to PM for the business, not just this one project. WHAT YOU'LL DO Own the project plan for our Zapier to n8n migration from start to finish Break the migration into clear phases, milestones, and weekly deliverables Coordinate our developers, keep them unblocked, and hold the line on deadlines Track every automation through the migration so nothing gets lost or broken Run a tight weekly cadence: status, blockers, what's shipping next Flag risks early, especially anything that could disrupt a live business workflow Keep clean documentation so we always know what's done, in progress, and pending Over time, help manage marketing projects across the agency as the role expands WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE Measurable forward progress every week, not stalled momentum Zero broken business-critical workflows during the migration A clear, always-current view of project status anyone on the team can read Developers who are focused and unblocked instead of trying to self-manage WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR Proven project management experience, ideally with technical or software teams Comfortable coordinating developers and translating between technical and business needs Strong with cadence, follow-through, and holding people accountable without friction Organized to a fault, with a system for tracking lots of moving parts Clear written communicator who runs tight, useful check-ins NICE TO HAVE Familiarity with Zapier, n8n, or workflow automation in general Experience managing marketing projects, campaigns, or agency deliverables Background in marketing, agency, or SaaS environments Experience managing migrations or system transitions DETAILS Start: ASAP Commitment: Part-time to start, with room to grow This begins as one focused project inside a busy marketing agency, but we expect it to grow into a larger ongoing role, including marketing project management, if you deliver great results.
