I am seeking a senior engineer or small technical team to design and build a functional Phase 1 prototype that demonstrates how electrical-state data can be converted into meaningful risk intelligence. This is primarily a software, data analytics, and systems-integration project. The initial prototype should not depend on developing new proprietary hardware. Instead, it should use historical, simulated, publicly available, or representative electrical data from systems such as AMI, smart meters, SCADA, ADMS, EMS, BMS, power-monitoring systems, or data-center infrastructure. The prototype should demonstrate the ability to: • Ingest electrical time-series data from one or more representative sources • Analyze variables such as voltage, current, load, temperature, harmonics, power factor, equipment behavior, and abnormal operating patterns • Establish normal operating baselines • Detect anomalies, degradation trends, and combinations of conditions associated with elevated electrical risk • Generate a clear risk score or condition classification • Distinguish normal, elevated-risk, and critical conditions • Display findings through a professional web-based dashboard • Generate alerts and preserve an event history • Explain which data conditions contributed to each risk determination • Demonstrate how the architecture could later connect with utility, building, industrial, telecom, or data-center systems The Phase 1 prototype should include: 1. A defined system architecture 2. A representative electrical dataset or simulation environment 3. A functioning data-ingestion pipeline 4. Baseline and anomaly-detection logic 5. Initial predictive or rules-based risk-scoring methodology 6. A web-based dashboard 7. Alert and event-logging functionality 8. A live demonstration showing normal and elevated-risk scenarios 9. Complete source code, documentation, credentials, and deployment instructions 10. A technical roadmap for future prototype and production phases The initial goal is not to build a fully validated commercial product. The goal is to create a credible technical demonstration showing that existing electrical data can be used to identify developing risk conditions before a fire, equipment failure, outage, or critical event occurs. The ideal candidate should have experience in several of the following areas: • Electrical grids and power systems • Electric utility operations • SCADA, ADMS, EMS, AMI, OMS, or smart-meter data • Commercial building or data-center electrical systems • Power-quality analysis • Time-series analytics • Machine learning and anomaly detection • Predictive maintenance • Python and data engineering • Cloud architecture and API integration • Dashboard development • Electrical fault, asset-health, or condition-monitoring systems The selected engineer must be able to take ownership of the technical architecture and translate the concept into a working prototype without requiring a fully developed technical specification for every component. Candidates should explain: • Their relevant electrical-grid or power-systems experience • Similar prototypes or analytics systems they have built • How they would source or simulate representative electrical data • Their recommended architecture and technology stack • What the completed prototype would demonstrate • Estimated cost and timeline • Any technical assumptions, limitations, or dependencies All work must be performed under confidentiality. All prototype-related intellectual property, source code, models, documentation, system architecture, and deliverables created under the engagement must be assigned to ElectricIQ. I would position it as a software intelligence prototype built on existing electrical data. Not as a new sensor or hardware-development project.
