Lead Research Assistant for Immigration Tech Product

I am building a WhatsApp-based tool that helps people track their USCIS immigration case status and receive alerts when their case changes. I need a detail-oriented research assistant to help build a structured list of potential partner organizations, including immigration law firms, immigration attorneys, and community organizations that serve immigration applicants. This is a manual research and data-entry task. You will be given a spreadsheet template and clear instructions. Tasks include: Researching immigration law firms and related organizations Capturing firm name, website, location, contact details, and practice areas Identifying whether the firm serves Spanish-speaking clients Noting whether the firm appears to use WhatsApp, online intake, or client communication tools Adding a simple fit score based on provided criteria Writing short notes about why each organization may be a good fit Tracking outreach status in a spreadsheet Ideal candidate: Strong attention to detail Comfortable using Google Sheets or Excel Able to research websites carefully Good written English Organized and consistent Spanish ability is a bonus, but not required No legal or immigration experience required Deliverable: A completed spreadsheet of researched immigration law firms and organizations, including contact information, fit score, and notes. This is a small initial project, with potential for ongoing research and admin support if the work is done well.
