Location: Remote (practice based in Bradenton, FL) Engagement: Fractional / contract to start (10–20 hrs/week), with a path to a larger retained scope Reports to: Practice Owner About us Mosaic Medicine is a concierge and direct primary care practice in Bradenton, Florida. We do hormone optimization (TRT and HRT), medical weight loss including GLP-1 therapy, IV infusions, peptide therapy, regenerative treatments, and preventive/functional medicine. One physical location, one owner-provider, a small clinical team, and a patient base we've built almost entirely on referral and word of mouth. We are good at medicine. Our digital footprint has not kept pace, and it has accumulated the kind of problems that come from building fast without a specialist in the room. Read this part first We would rather be honest about what you're walking into than sell you a clean slate. Our web presence is fragmented across multiple domains. We operate several brand sites for what is legally and physically one practice, at one address, with one treating provider. We understand this may be splitting our authority, diluting our local signals, and confusing search engines and AI systems about who and what we actually are. We need someone who can tell us honestly whether to consolidate, how, and what it costs us in the short term to fix. Our tracking and analytics were set up without a compliance review. We collect patient inquiries through web forms that feed a CRM, we run paid traffic, and we have never had someone audit what our tags, pixels, and third-party scripts are actually transmitting, or from which pages. In healthcare this is not a minor housekeeping item. Our content does not signal what it should. We have thin service pages, inconsistent author attribution, no visible medical review process, and almost no structured data. For a nurse-practitioner-owned practice in a YMYL category, those signals are not optional. We are largely invisible to AI answer engines. When someone asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, or Google's AI Overview where to get TRT or medically supervised weight loss in the Bradenton–Sarasota area, we are not in the answer. We believe this channel matters more every quarter and we want to be built for it deliberately, not accidentally. We operate in a restricted advertising category. We prescribe controlled substances and compounded medications. That constrains what we can claim, where we can advertise, and what certifications we need to hold. Several platform doors have already been closed to us for credentialing reasons. If reading that list made you want to open a browser and start looking things up, you're the person we want. What you'll own Technical foundation Audit all owned properties and deliver a clear recommendation on domain architecture — consolidate, keep separate, or hybrid — with the reasoning and the migration risk spelled out Execute any migration cleanly: redirect mapping, canonicalization, internal link rebuild, index management, and a monitoring plan so we see problems in days, not quarters Core Web Vitals, crawlability, indexation hygiene, site structure Compliance-aware analytics and tracking Audit every tag, pixel, script, and third-party embed across all properties and tell us what is transmitting what, from where Rebuild measurement so we get real attribution without putting patient information where it doesn't belong — server-side tagging, appropriate vendor agreements, clean form and call handoffs into our CRM Own the relationship between web analytics, our CRM lifecycle stages, and our ad platforms Content and authority (E-E-A-T) Build out service and condition pages that are actually substantive, with credentialed authorship, review dates, and a documented clinical review workflow Implement and maintain healthcare structured data (organization, provider, service, and page-level schema) correctly Own the content calendar and either write it or manage writers; we will supply clinical accuracy and review Answer Engine Optimization Build a real strategy for being retrieved and cited by AI systems — entity consistency, citation surface, source authority, semantic markup, and content shaped for extraction Establish baseline measurement for AI visibility and report on it like any other channel We consider this a first-class deliverable, not a bolt-on to SEO Local and paid Google Business Profile strategy that is correct under current guidelines for a single-location, single-provider practice operating multiple brands Local citation and NAP consistency cleanup Advise on and help unblock our restricted-category advertising eligibility Manage or advise on paid search and social depending on where your strengths are Requirements 4+ years in SEO with meaningful time in healthcare, telehealth, or another regulated vertical You have personally executed a domain consolidation or large-scale migration and can talk through what you did, what you monitored, and what went wrong Working knowledge of HIPAA as it applies to marketing technology — not legal expertise, but you know why a tracking pixel on a booking confirmation page is a different conversation than one on a blog post, and you know what a BAA is and when you need one Demonstrable AEO/GEO work with results you can point to, not just an opinion about where the industry is heading Hands-on with GA4, Google Tag Manager (including server-side), Search Console, and at least one major SEO platform Comfortable in a CMS and in code — you can implement schema, fix a redirect chain, and read a page's network requests without waiting on a developer You write clearly and you push back when we're wrong about something in your domain Nice to have Experience with hormone therapy, weight loss, med spa, or men's health specifically HubSpot Familiarity with LegitScript certification and platform healthcare advertising policies Video/YouTube optimization — we produce short-form clinical education content Conversion rate optimization What we're screening out We have been burned by generalists who applied ecommerce or local-services playbooks to a medical practice. To be direct about the profile that will not work here: Anyone who would spin up a separate domain per service line without first asking what it does to entity consolidation and local signals Anyone who installs tracking on a healthcare site without asking what happens on the pages behind the form Anyone whose AEO pitch is "we add FAQ schema and an llms.txt file" Anyone who reports on rankings and impressions but can't connect activity to booked consults Agencies that will assign us a junior account manager and a template deliverable To apply Send a short note plus answers to these five. Answer them directly; we'd rather read four honest paragraphs than a deck. We run multiple domains for one practice, at one address, with one treating provider. Without seeing the sites yet, what's your instinct on how to approach that, and what would you need to look at before committing to a recommendation? A patient lands on our TRT page, fills out a consultation request form, and hits a thank-you page. Walk us through where tracking belongs in that sequence and where it does not, and why. Give us one example of a client you got surfaced or cited in AI Overviews, Perplexity, or a similar system. What specifically did you change, and how did you know it worked? We prescribe testosterone and compounded GLP-1 medications. How does that change your organic and paid approach compared to a practice that doesn't? Tell us about a migration or site change that lost traffic. What happened, how long did it take to diagnose, and what did you do? Include your rate, your availability, and a link or two to work you're proud of. We read every application ourselves.
