Have you helped build training systems that turn people into confident, consistent performers? Do you understand that great training is not just content? It is principles. Mental models. Practice. Feedback. Assessment. Proof of competence. And eventually, the ability to teach others. If so, this could be a great fit. This is not just a “Skool builder” role. We are not looking for someone to simply upload videos, organise folders or make pretty slides. We are looking for someone with real L&D depth who can help us build a professional training academy for chiropractors. Who We Are Life Balance Chiropractic exists to:End suffering. Restore balance. To do that, we need a training system that helps great humans become great chiropractors. And great chiropractors become future leaders. Why This Role Exists We already have SOPs. We already have Process Street playbooks. We already have many of the steps and standards written down. But SOPs are not enough. A checklist can show someone what to do. It does not always teach: Why it matters What principle sits behind the step What great looks like What poor execution looks like What to do when the situation changes How to think and act under pressure How to handle real client moments How to prove competence How to teach others That is where you come in. Your Mission Your mission is simple: Extract the principles. Build the Academy. Create mastery. You will work with our founder, subject matter experts, mentors, and senior team to capture the best parts of our training, coaching, SOPs, stories, real-world clinic examples, and mental models. Then you will turn them into simple, practical training that helps chiropractors become more competent without needing 1:1 coaching from the founder. The Learning Model Every important SOP should become a mastery pathway. Each pathway should move a chiropractor through five stages: 1. Know It Understand the principle, framework and standard. 2. See It Watch what good, average and poor execution looks like. 3. Do It Practise the skill in real clinic situations. 4. Prove It Show evidence through video, reflection, scorecards, self-review, peer review, client outcomes or senior review. 5. Teach It Coach others in the clinic and contribute back to the Academy. Because teaching is the final proof of mastery. 6. Practice it Show evidence and accountability of quality REPS and standards. What You’ll Help Build You will help build learning pathways across areas such as: Checking and adjusting mastery New Client & Report of Findings conversations Progress checks Client retention Care plan commitment Creating meaningful “goals” for clients Moving clients from pain relief to prevention and performance thinking Handling difficult client conversations Reactivations Referrals Client delight Example We may already have a Progress Check SOP. The SOP may explain the steps. Your role is to build the learning around the steps. You would help uncover: Why this moment matters What the chiropractor should be thinking What great questions sound and look like What common mistakes happen How to handle a client losing motivation or their why when they feel better no change, or feel worse How to connect care to life goals How to review performance How to know when someone is competent Then you would turn that into: A learning module A simple mental model A scenario exercise A quiz A reflection task A video review task A competency rubric A “Know It, See It, Do It, Prove It, Teach It, Practice it” pathway Senior chiropractor development Partner-manager readiness What Success Looks Like First 30 Days: Prove You Can Build The Magic Before we scale the Academy, we want to see one complete pathway built from start to finish. You will take one real SOP or training area and turn it into a full mastery pathway using our model: Know It → See It → Do It → Prove It → Teach It - Practice it This first pathway should show that you can: Extract the key principles and mental models Pull the best nuance from founder/team training Ask great questions Project manage the founder effectively Turn rough ideas into clear learning Build practical exercises and assessments Create something simple, useful and high-quality Show us what “great” could look like for the wider Academy By the end of 30 days, we should have one complete Academy pathway that proves the concept. This may include: Module outline Intro video brief Teaching framework Scenario-based lesson Quiz Reflection task Video review task Competency rubric Scorecard Workshop structure “Teach It” coaching task Practice proves accountability If this first project is excellent, we move into the full 90-day Academy build. First 90 Days Existing SOPs mapped into Academy pathways Core Academy structure designed Repeatable module template created First 3-5 mastery modules built Competency rubric system drafted Clear plan for scaling the Academy First 6 Months Associate Chiropractor Academy live Scenario-based learning active Video review and self-assessment systems running Group learning and peer review system established Founder-led 1:1 training reduced First 12 Months First 12 Months By the end of the first 12 months, the Academy should have clear development pathways for the full Life Balance growth journey: Chiropractor Development Pathway A clear pathway for chiropractors to grow from: New Associate → Confident Associate → Senior Chiropractor → Coach/Mentor This should include clinical mastery, communication, client results, retention, personal brand, referrals and leadership behaviours. Partner-Manager Development Pathway A pathway for chiropractors or leaders who may one day run a Life Balance clinic. This should include team leadership, standards, performance rhythms, client experience, local growth, scorecards and culture. Franchise / Multi-Clinic Development Pathway An early pathway for future franchise, licensing or multi-clinic growth. This should include how we standardise excellence, train trainers, protect the brand, certify competence and build repeatable clinic operating standards. Trainer & Coach Pathway A pathway for senior chiropractors and leaders to become Academy coaches. This should teach them how to review videos, give feedback, assess competence, lead group learning and help others move through: Know It → See It → Do It → Prove It → Teach It . practice it By 12 months, the Academy should not just train chiropractors. It should start building future clinic leaders, future partner-managers, future trainers and the foundations for scalable franchise-level growth. Who We’re Looking For We are looking for someone with real learning and training experience and proven success in a company. You may have worked as a: Learning Experience Designer Instructional Designer L&D Manager Curriculum Designer Academy Builder Franchise Training Leader Professional Education Manager Training Programme Designer Corporate University Builder Competency Framework Designer You understand adult learning. You know how to turn expertise into behaviour change. You can simplify complex ideas. You can build training that helps people perform under pressure. Time Commitment Up 5 - 10 hours per week. Usually around 1 - 2 hours per day, 5 days per week. Rate $24-$60 USD per hour, depending on experience, with exceptional candidates considered above this range Expected monthly range 5 hrs /week $520 - $1300 USD/month 10 hrs /week $1040 - $2600 USD/month For exceptional candidates with proven franchise, corporate university or Fortune 500 training experience, we may consider higher. Job Type Fractional / part-time / contract. Growth Opportunity For the right person, this role may expand into a larger Academy Builder, Learning & Development Lead, or Academy Director role as the business grows. Location Remote. Must have some overlap and be available during the required UK working hours. Application Task Shortlisted candidates may be invited to complete a paid trial project.
