Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled **Legal Analyst** with 5–10 years of experience in consumer protection, fintech, privacy, and complex litigation to help us with Case Evaluation. Paralegal or legal-ops experience at a PI / class-action / mass-tort firm with real drafting in the mix. You will be responsible for reviewing potential mass arbitration, analyzing legal theories, assessing procedural posture (including arbitration provisions), and producing clear, evidence-rich evaluation reports. The ideal candidate has: - Hands-on drafting experience: has personally drafted complaints, motions, demand letters, or case memos — and can name the specific artifacts, not just "supported litigation" or "reviewed documents." - Plaintiff-side litigation exposure, ideally at a personal injury or class-action firm, where the workflow (intake → theory → pleading) mirrors ours. - Comfort with independent factual and statutory research, and source discipline (citing named, dated, original sources) — this is what Tasks 1 and 2 actually test. - Can articulate CREAC/IRAC structure, not just name it. Someone who can explain Conclusion–Rule–Explanation–Application–Conclusion will write the Reasoning cells correctly; someone who can't will produce mush. - An LLM, or someone 1–2 years into law school (i.e., past 1L, so they've taken legal writing coursework). Nice-to-haves - Access to a legal research platform (Westlaw, Lexis, Bloomberg Law; Fastcase / CourtListener acceptable). Useful for verifying citations and pulling dockets without us having to do the legwork pre-assignment. They don’t need to provide materials, just properly cite. - Familiarity with privacy statutes in play here (CIPA, VPPA, state wiretap, UCL) or with the smart-TV / ACR fact pattern. - Quick turnaround and comfort working from an imperfect AI draft with light supervision.
