Evans & Evans, PC is a law firm that provides legal services for disabled persons seeking disability benefits through the Social Security Administration. Position Summary: We are looking for a Legal Assistant to help coordinate hearing dates and times with our lawyers, order and track medical records for hearings, meet with clients to prepare them for their hearing, Responsibilities: Organize multiple hearings and keeping track of multiple medical records that are due Communicate with the Social Security Administration and Administrative Law Judges Answer incoming calls from multi-line phones and answer client questions Meet with clients one on one to help being to prepare clients for their Social Security hearing. Learn and apply applicable rules and law regarding managing Social Security Disability claims Monitor and create detailed notes necessary for case management Process a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls Handle outgoing correspondence and submitting documents to government agencies in an accurate manner Submit documents to the Social Security Administration Correspond with clients via email and letters Call clients and follow up on time sensitive matters
