Legal Documents translation from English to German

Capital.com is looking for a skilled English-to-German translator for a one-time legal document translation project. You will be working within our CAT tool environment (XTM Cloud) to deliver accurate, terminology-consistent translations of approximately 15,000 words of legal content. What You Will Do Translate approximately 15,000 words of legal documentation from English into German within the agreed timeline Work directly in XTM Cloud, using provided translation memories and glossaries Maintain terminological consistency with Capital.com's established legal and financial glossary Flag any source text ambiguities or untranslatable elements to the Localisation team Deliver translations that meet the agreed quality standard, ready for LQA review What You Bring Native-level German with excellent command of formal/legal register Proven experience translating legal documents (contracts, terms and conditions, compliance materials, or similar) Familiarity with XTM Cloud or comparable CAT tools (SDL Trados, memoQ) Ability to meet project deadlines accurately and communicate proactively Financial services or fintech translation experience is a strong advantage Nice to Have Background in legal or financial translation specifically within regulated industries (brokerage, banking, insurance) Existing Capital.com or fintech brand familiarity CAT tool certification or formal translator training Project Details Volume: ~15,000 words Tool: XTM Cloud (access provided) Content type: Legal documents Engagement type: One-time freelance project Timeline: To be confirmed upon agreement
