US Legal & Finance Expert Needed – Full Website Audit (5 Tools + 5 Blogs) – Site Not Live Yet
Worldwide
Job Description: I have built a complete educational website (HTML/CSS/JS) for the USA audience. The site is NOT live yet. I will share all files via Google Drive or ZIP. Before I deploy and apply for Google AdSense, I need a US-based professional to conduct a thorough audit of the entire site. What I have ready (all files can be shared): - 5 Interactive Calculators: Personal Injury Settlement, Tax Credits, ROI, BMR/Calorie, Macro/Nutrition. - 5 Blog Posts on Settlement (educational guides – multiplier method, pain & suffering, fault rules, etc.) – each ~2000–3000 words. - Mandatory Pages: About Us, Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, Disclaimer, Contact. - Homepage with tool grid and educational content. - Blog Hub with category filters. How we will work: - I will upload all files to Google Drive (or send a ZIP) and give you access. - You can review the files locally or on a temporary staging server (I can help set up a free Netlify preview if needed). - You will provide a written report (Word/PDF/Google Doc) with your findings. What I need you to review (detailed checklist): 1. Logic & Calculation Accuracy (for each of the 5 tools) - Settlement Calculator: Multiplier method (1.75x / 3.25x / 5.50x) – realistic for US personal injury claims? Fault percentage reduction logic? State dropdown (all 50 states) – correct? - Tax Credit Estimator: Income-based multipliers, dependent credits, R&D expenses, education credits – aligned with publicly available IRS guidelines? - ROI Calculator: Gross profit, tax adjustment (short-term vs long-term), CAGR formula – correct for US investors? - BMR Calculator: Mifflin-St Jeor formula, metric/imperial toggle, BMI classification – accurate? - Macro Calculator: Atwater system (4-4-9), macro percentages, goal-based insights – correct? 2. Blog Content Review (5 settlement blogs) - Fact-check legal terms (pure comparative, modified comparative, contributory negligence) with correct state examples. - Are the example settlement amounts realistic for the US market? - Are all external links (Nolo, Investopedia, IRS, FindLaw) valid and appropriate? - Any outdated legal references or missing disclaimers? 3. Legal & Compliance (Crucial for AdSense) - Disclaimers: Every calculator and blog has an “Educational Purpose Only” warning. Are they strong enough? - Privacy Policy & Terms: Compliant with US state laws (CCPA/CPRA) and AdSense requirements? - Non‑Affiliation Statements: Clear that I am not affiliated with IRS, any law firm, or government agency? - Medical/Financial/Legal disclaimers – any missing? 4. Localization & US Market Fit - Spelling & Units: US English (color, judgment, etc.) – any stray UK/Canadian spellings or units (kg, cm, £)? - Currency & Formatting: All dollar amounts use $. - State-specific content: Fault rules table correct? 5. AdSense & SEO Readiness - Low value content warning – any page flagged as “thin content”? - Mandatory pages present (About, Contact, Privacy, Terms, Disclaimer)? - Internal linking – logical structure, no broken links? - Meta tags & descriptions – present and relevant? 6. User Experience & Mobile Responsiveness - Quick check on mobile view (emulated or real device): calculators display correctly, buttons work, no horizontal scroll. Deliverable: A written report (Word/PDF/Google Doc) with: - Summary of findings (critical issues first) - Specific recommendations for each section (with file names or line references if possible) - Optional: a brief Loom video walkthrough. Budget: $200 – $500 (one-time fixed price) or hourly ($30–$60/hour). Open to proposals. Ideal Freelancer: - Based in the USA (required). - Background: Paralegal, legal consultant, tax professional, or finance editor. - Experience auditing legal/finance/health calculator websites. - Excellent written English. How to Apply: Please include: 1. Your relevant experience (mention any similar website audits you have done). 2. Your location (city & state). 3. A one‑sentence summary of what you would check first on a personal injury settlement calculator. ⚠️ Legal Note for Freelancer: - This is an independent contractor agreement. You are responsible for your own taxes. - A standard Non‑Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and Work‑for‑Hire agreement will be signed before work begins. - Limitation of Liability: You are not responsible for Google AdSense final approval or legal outcomes; your role is to provide professional recommendations. Thank you!
