Paralegal/Legal Researcher for Landlord Tenant Cases

We are a real estate company based in Washington, DC who is looking for a paralegal to serve on our internal legal team. We have developed a proprietary software to streamline and organize the landlord/tenant process. We seek someone who is nimble, hardworking and detail oriented. There’s an opportunity to grow with this company as the platform expands. We work with an outside law firm(s), but the filing requirements vary amongst the different jurisdictions and we need a legal assistant/paralegal to track and manage the tenant data, attorney submission, filing process and case results.   Paralegal/legal experience a must.   The ideal candidate will have experience in legal consulting and research, and be able to conduct thorough court docket and case searches This role requires attention to detail and the ability log-in to superior and district court databases to pull down hearing information and results. Court results will be entered into our proprietary database. The position is up to 20 hours per week depending on need. Those position has the potential to be long-term with the possibility for additional hours. Hours may be flexible as long as the deadlines and deliverables are met.
