For more than 25 years, Archer has helped global organizations build resilient, high-performing businesses through industry-leading risk and compliance technology — including AI-powered horizon scanning that monitors thousands of regulatory sources across dozens of jurisdictions. We are seeking a Legal Specification Drafter to join our regulatory content intelligence team. In this role, you will be part of Archer's Expert-In-The-Loop (EITL) process, which combines expert insight with automated systems to deliver the accuracy and reliability our customers rely on for regulatory intelligence. About the Role As a Legal Specification Drafter, you will be the architect behind the specification documents that expand Archer's regulatory coverage. Working alongside legal experts and software engineers, you will help shape Archer's regulatory content library by providing research, insights, and structured guidance on legal and regulatory documents from diverse jurisdictions and subject areas. What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like - Draft precise legal and regulatory specifications that enable the identification and collection of key content from regulatory agencies worldwide. - Conduct thorough research on meta-data relevant to regulatory documents. - Provide analysis and insights on regulations and legislation published by agencies across various jurisdictions, including in-depth review of their web sources. - Stay current on evolving standards for document types across regulators and jurisdictions. - Advise on regulatory sources and documents available in Archer's content libraries in response to client requests. - Collaborate with engineers and legal professionals to elevate the quality of legal and regulatory content, ensuring Archer continues to meet the highest standards for regulatory intelligence. About You - Skilled at understanding and analyzing legal and regulatory documents. - Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality output. - Able to identify and resolve inconsistencies and discrepancies in complex legal content. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Effective communicator with a collaborative mindset. Qualifications - Background in legal education or policy (e.g., JD, LLM, or equivalent) is essential. - Experience drafting specification documents for legal and regulatory content sources is a plus. - Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team, preferably within an Expert-In-The-Loop (EITL) setting. - Familiarity with automated content collection systems (e.g., web crawlers, APIs) as they relate to legal and regulatory content is advantageous. What We Offer - A meaningful role within Archer's EITL process at a recognized leader in integrated risk management. - A fully remote position with a collaborative, team-oriented work environment and strong opportunities for professional growth. - Competitive compensation and flexible work arrangements. - The opportunity to make a tangible impact on how organizations worldwide manage regulatory compliance.
