Legal product manager for PMV (personal mobility vehicles)

Company PMV Hub is a personal mobility vehicle retail store, offering a comprehensive vehicle selection PMV selection, configurable by additional equipment selection. The vehicles are offered national (in Germany) and cross-border within European Union. The goal of the PMV Hub is to make personal mobility as easy, accessible, transparent, and enjoyable as possible. The PMV Hub is a digital platform offering a large portfolio of high-quality personal mobility vehicles along with the necessary technical and homologation information, presented in a clear and easy-to-understand way. This allows our customers to easily navigate across the variety of PM-Vehicles to find the one best fitting their needs and wishes. Your job As legal product manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the in compliance of the PMV Hub vehicle portfolio as well as checking and clarifying legal aspects of the procurement and sales logistics (import, export, etc.). This includes: - checking, approving and classifying vehicles for sales in specific target markets in the vehicle assessment process - working closely together with the technical product manager to assess the vehicle compliance (road homologation, CE-conformity, etc.) for EU target markets - checking, correcting and creating vehicle / vehicle type and country specific information regarding road homologation, usage regulations (areas allowed, max. speed, additional safety equipment, etc.) - completing the vehicle documentation for compliance assessment, import and export - clarifying legal aspects with supplier, if necessary - monitoring relevant homologation and logistics regulations and updating information, policies, requirements and adjusting vehicle portfolio (in cooperation with technical product manager), if necessary Requirements - degree in law or similar education - experience in law and compliance (preferably in mobility sector) - experience in international law (import, export, etc.), especially cross border retail within EU - experience in vehicle compliance (road homologation, vehicle construction requirements, etc.), desired but not required - ability and willingness to learn new topics and get familiar with niche or specific regulations - basic understanding of technical and engineering vehicle construction and power supply concepts - interest in innovative vehicle power supply technologies (hydrogen, etc.) and mobility technologies (self-balancing vehicles, levitation technologies, etc.) - good methodical research skills - reliability and attention to detail - clear, open, honest, and solution-oriented communication
