Licensed CPA – Financial Statement Audit & Sign-Off (Attest Services)

We're looking for a licensed CPA with active attest/audit authority to perform financial statement audits (and/or reviews and compilations) and sign off as the responsible CPA on the engagement. Scope of Work: - Conduct financial statement audits, reviews, or compilations in accordance with GAAS/applicable standards - Review supporting documentation, trial balances, and financial records for accuracy and compliance - Identify and communicate any discrepancies, risks, or areas of concern - Prepare and issue signed audit opinions/reports - Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and licensing requirements - Communicate clearly with our internal team on findings, timelines, and any follow-up items Requirements: - Active, unrestricted CPA license in good standing (please specify state/jurisdiction) - Demonstrated experience performing and signing audits (not just internal/managerial accounting) - Familiarity with GAAP and GAAS standards - Prior experience with small business or [insert relevant industry] audits preferred - Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines - Comfortable working with a remote/distributed team To Apply, Please Include: - Your CPA license number and issuing state/jurisdiction (for verification) - A brief summary of your audit/attest experience (types of engagements, industries) - Your typical turnaround time for an audit - Your rate structure (flat fee per engagement vs. hourly)
